Greek Residency by Investment Program (Golden Visa)
GREECE GOLDEN VISA PROGRAM
Greece has a golden future in store for you
In accordance with the Immigration and Social Integration Code, the government of Greece now grants Golden Visas to individuals who qualify. Following Law 4136/2013, as revised by 4251/2014, Greece has enacted measures to facilitate the permanent residency of non-EU citizens. Third-country citizens can now get a permanent residence by buying a home worth a minimum of €250,000. This may be renewed every five (5) years.
In exchange for a minimum investment of €250,000, non-EU citizens and their immediate families (spouse, children under 24 years old, and either or both sets of parents) can obtain permanent residency in Greece within two to three months under the Greece Golden Visa (permanent residency permit) ("PR") program. This particular scheme is one of the most sought-after among EU member states, giving eligible individuals freedom to live and travel freely in the EU with ease.
- Application processing time is approximately two to three months.
- Visa-free travel is available in all EU and Schengen zone countries.
- Investment type: Real Estate.
- A minimum investment of 250,000 EUR would be required.
- Your immediate family is included in your application (spouse, children under 21 years old, and either or both sets of parents).
- Flexibility: No minimum stay.
- For properties constructed after 2006, VAT (24%) is not applicable.
